NCO Camp 2010

The annual NCO Camp will be held from 11 to 14 November 2010.

Reporting time is 0830 on 11 Nov (Thursday) in PT Track outside the NPCC Room.
Dismissal time is 1300 (estimated) on 14 Nov (Sunday).

Cost of each student is $26 (camp shirt and meals). Payment is to be made before the camp. Please make a trip down to submit your consent form and cash to any teacher officers if you have not done so.

Attendance is compulsory for all Sec 2s and 3s. All items stated in packing list are to be followed closely:

1 set Full NPCC Uniform with headdress
2 NPCC T-shirt
2 PE T-shirt
2 PE Shorts
2 Black Track Pants
Sufficient Undergarments
3 pairs (1 pair a day) Socks (long plain white)
1 pair White canvas shoes
1 Digital Thermometer (working condition)
Sufficient Toiletries (E.g. toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo)
1 can Prickly heat powder
Sufficient Bath Towel
1 set Cutleries (E.g. fork & spoon, can opener, etc)
Windbreaker (Optional)
1.5 litre bottle (filled)
Poncho (Army Green only) 1
Whistle (Black/Blue ONLY) 1
1 Torchlight (charged with batteries)
1 ball Twine (Grade 3)
1 pair Scissors
Sufficient Rag (area cleaning)
Sufficient Plastic bags / Ziploc bags
Insect repellent (Optional)
Writing materials (E.g. notebook and stationery)(Compulsory)
EZ-link card (Compulsory)
Spectacle hooks / bands for campers with glasses (Compulsory)
Sandals (No slippers)(Optional)( For wash up)
Personal medication (must surrender to Instructors upon commencement of camp)If any

This is an important camp for the current Sec 2s to pick up the necessary skills and knowledge in preparation for the following year to lead the unit as NCOs together with the Senior NCOs. Exciting activities will be planned by the current Sec 3s to meet the objectives of this camp.

Let us look forward to this enriching experience which will be led by your seniors, CIs, HOs and TOs with a positive mindset. At the same time, do expect ex-NPCC cadets whom you have never seen before in this camp. We will impart what we know to make you guys extraordinary instructors!
